Silver Palate Carrot Cake
3 cups unbleached all-purpose flour 3 cups granulated sugar.

Butter two 9-inch cake pans. Add oil eggs and vanilla. Then place the cake pan cover over the frosting to ensure the best keeping qualities.
Grease bottom of 9x13 cake pan. An especially nice finish is to sprinkle a few chopped walnuts over the top. Drain and squeeze out excess water.
